GaGa's 'Born This Way' sells 1 million Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' has sold more than one million downloads in under five days.

The 'Bad Romance' singer's latest effort has topped the iTunes chart in 23 countries as well as becoming the 1000th number one on the US Billboard chart last week.

GaGa revealed the lyrics of her next single 'Judas' yesterday, via her Twitter page.

Lady GaGa's second album 'Born This Way' is due to be released May 23.

Grammys blasted for Bieber, Eminem snub Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Veteran music executive Steve Stoute has criticised Grammy organisers for snubbing Justin Bieber and Eminem at this year's ceremony through an open letter advertisement in the New York Times.

The music executive turned advertising guru, who has worked on campaigns with artists including Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake, ripped into the organisation and its 12,000-odd voters for not handing out awards to fan-favourites Eminem and Bieber.

The Three Kings director told Slash Film that games are very different to movies and that it requires a narrative to embrace the viewer.

"I'm not going to present myself as hardcore," he said. "But I played the game a bunch of times and I also read as much as I could about the game and I met the game's creator, Amy Hennig, who's really cool.

Johansson, Brand to present at Oscars Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Scarlett Johansson and Russell Brand have reportedly agreed to present at this year's Academy Awards.

Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced that the stars would appear on the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Other celebrities due to present at the Oscars include Robert Downey Jr, Hugh Jackman, Annette Bening, Jude Law, Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey.

James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host the awards show, which will air on ABC on February 27.

Kevin Costner may join the new 'Superman' Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Kevin Costner may be joining the Christopher Nolan-produced Superman reboot.

Costner, who starred in The Untouchables and The Company Men, is rumoured to be wanted for the role of Jonathan Kent, Superman's adoptive father, reports Latino Review.

According to the story depicted in the comics, as well as various movies and TV series, Jonathan and his wife Martha discover a small ship carrying a young boy that crash-lands on Earth and decide to raise the boy as their own, naming him Clark Kent. Clark ultimately becomes Superman.

Brad Pitt's parents to move in with him Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Brad Pitt's parents are moving in with him and Angelina Jolie.

The actor is building an apartment in the grounds of his French estate for Bill and Jane Pitt, who will help raise the Hollywood couple's six children.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The whole family is going to move there as soon as the renovations are done. At the moment they have six nannies - one for each of the kids - and the plan is to get rid of the helpers and rely on Bill and Jane.

Piers Morgan to interview Larry King on CNN Tuesday February 22, 2011 USA

Piers Morgan is to interview Larry King on CNN.

Morgan took over King's spot on the network after King left his long-running chatshow last December.

"I'm sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons," Morgan said about the upcoming broadcast.

The Morgan-King interview will air live this Wednesday at 9pm ET on CNN.

King recently told the BBC that Morgan "may have been oversold" to viewers.

Dianna Agron, Alex Pettyfer split?

Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer have reportedly ended their relationship.

Us Weekly claims that the I Am Number Four co-stars have split, with Agron moving out of the home that she shared with Pettyfer.

The couple were pictured together at the premiere for the film, with the 20-year-old British actor also telling Ellen DeGeneres that the Glee actress is "an amazing woman".

Agron's representative told E! that she refuses to comment on the actress's personal life.

Spears releases snippet of next single

Britney Spears has released a short teaser clip of her next single, due to be released sometime over the next month to capitalise on the success of 'Hold It Against Me'.

Spears posted a 15-second excerpt of the new single, called 'Inside Out', on Twitter yesterday via her album's producer Dr. Luke.

In the brief snippet, the following lyrics are heard: "Come on! Won't you give me something to remember? Baby, shut your mouth and turn me inside."

'Idol' runner-up dropped by record label

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta has reportedly been dropped by his record label.

The 20-year-old singer was signed to Jive Records in 2008 after coming in second to eventual winner David Cook on the show's seventh season, but has now apparently been released from his contract.

According to Gossip Cop, the news comes after the disappointing response to Archuleta's latest album The Other Side of Down, which has sold only 63,000 copies since its release in October 2010.
