Kara Members Sue Agency

The Seoul Central District Court on Monday said Han Seung-yeon, Nicole Jung and Kang Ji-young are asking the court to confirm the dissolution of the contract.

JYP faces plagiarism again

entertainmentProducer-singer Park Jin-young has refuted yet another plagiarism charge. Park is the head of JYP Entertainment, which manages major acts such as the Wonder Girls, 2PM and 2AM.

The allegation was made on Feb. 10 by songwriter Kim Sin-il, who claimed that the song, “Someday,” written by Park and sung by IU, is similar to his song “To My Man,” which was released in 2005 and sung by female soloist Ash. His lawyer filed suit against Park that day.

MBLAQ Lee Joon vomits due to cochlea disorder "situation not severe"

entertainmentIdol group member MBLAQ's Lee Joon has been admitted to the hospital due to sudden vomiting symptoms and has cancelled further activities to take a well-needed rest.

MBLAQ was scheduled to perform a Valentine's Day special stage with Sulli and 'Stay' on February 13th's SBS Inkigayo. However, one of their performances had to be cancelled with the absence of Mir who is currently recovering from a back injury and Lee Joon who had sudden symptoms of vomiting.

Hyunah is currently in Thailand because of her schedule. The representative stated that Hyunah said she was sad about it and that she asked to be excused beforehand. He added "She'll go to her high school in order to receive her diploma once she comes back from Thailand"

Dong Bang Shin Ki's Single Album Ranks Atop Oricon Chart

entertainmentDong Bang Shin Ki's 31st album entitled "Why? Keep Your Head Down," which was released in Japan on January 26, ranked atop the Oricon monthly single chart. According to the Oricon chart on February 8, the single album had ranked in first place on the daily chart when it had been released, it also ranked atop the weekly chart again by selling as many as 231,000 copies within just six days of its release, and it had been reached first place on the monthly chart again.
