Kanye, Rihanna video 'an epilepsy risk' Thursday February 24, 2011 USA
A charity has warned that Kanye West's new music video 'All of the Lights', is an epilepsy risk.
Epilepsy Action used technology from Cambridge Research Systems to analyse the frequency of flashes in the video. They found that the flashes exceeded the limit that is considered safe, reports Metro.
The video, which features Rihanna, has gained just under 5 million views on video sharing site YouTube since its release last week.
The charity has been in contact with both West's agent and YouTube to recommend that they put up a warning at the start of the video, to prevent causing fits in viewers with photosensitive epilepsy.
"'We are doing all we can to warn people who may be affected not to watch it," a spokesperson for the charity commented.
The song is the fourth single to be taken from West's fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and was released January 18 in the US and February 20 in the UK.
