New song from J-pop queen Thursday February 24, 2011 Japan/Korea

entertainmentThe queen of J-pop, Namie Amuro, is teaming up with Korean girl group After School on a new song called “Make It Happen.”

On Monday, Park Ka-hi, an After School member, posted a photo of Amuro and the group shooting the music video for the song together.

The song will appear on Amuro’s “best collaboration” album, which features top J-pop musicians AI & Anna Tsuchiya, Chemistry, Tomohisa Yamashita and more.

Amuro became a sensation in Japan in the 1990s with hits “Can You Celebrate” and “I Have Never Seen.”

The nine-member After School debuted in 2009 and has had hits with songs like “Diva” and “Because of You.”
